Default Juan Flores....Tribute Rods...

If anyone has any connections (I don't)....I think it would be a great thing if someone has the ability/connections to start/produce a "Dream Big" Juan Flores Signature Jigging Popping Rod line in memory of one of my BEST friends.....any takers???? still devasted.....Capt. Dave Vollenweider

Absolutely NOT trying to exploit one of my BEST friend's name....with family approval....proceeds could go to a reputable cancer charity....just a thought....still trying to get my head around all this....very hard...Capt. Dave

I believe John was affiliated with a rod company possibly as I recall seeing him a show with Temple Fork rod co.
Might be a good place to start . Just a suggestion.

I would say Randy Chin @ JDM Tackle or Dave Stingo would probably be good places to start as they were good friends of John and are connected to the tackle industry.

Oof, JPR already started an incredibly tasteless display of bullcrap on another messageboard with this topic. I've had VERY bad experience trying to buy stuff from him. No thanks.

Maybe if anyone wants to, of their own volition and on their own dime, build a rod and auction it and give the family the proceeds, that'd be great. Otherwise I really think Temple Reef and/or Stingo should be approached and asked to participate, and ANYONE that spearheads this and makes it happen should do so privately, without airing it all out on the messageboards.
