Andy, fish that one many times from my Jon boat with my two sons...great bass and catfish with loads of big carp too....shoreline is kinda tough but small raft/boat is the way to go in there, Robbie

Fished the rowing docks from shore and under the bridge on the same side . Caught small Crappie from under the dock and one nice Bass on Crappie jigs . Not sure if we were supposed to be in there but no one seemed to have a problem .

That lake is actually part of Princeton U BUT it is a public lake. They diverted the river to make the lake many years ago and of course, they use it for rowing. Good luck fishing there. I like the area off of Alexander Road, loaded with Lilly pads and BIG bass. No shore access any longer. All covered with bushes and growth. You are able to access the lake in the area where the canal runs along side of it(north side across from the boat launch).Enter from southbound route 1 right before Alexander road exit. There is a county park there where you are able to park and with good fishing too.

I've fished it 3 or 4 times over the last 6 years. I like it...nice lake and not usually crowded from my experience. I never fished it from shore only a boat. Always got a few bass (some big ones in there) but never had a big numbers day. Got a few Crappie out of there when using a crankbait as well.

Good luck!
