Hey guys.... Are you all running braid on your Striper spinners ? I can see it helping for livelining and hooksets. What about clamming ? Thanks for your input.

Bobby,

I use braid on my spinners as it often is an advantage to get out as far as possible from the boat. I use a 6' top shot of fluro for both the ease of handling and for visibility. Some times stripers are like blackfish and are line wary. I go down to 20# fluro then and go up to 40# when livelining.
