I quit 6 years ago but it is really to late for me. I have copd And I was put on oxygen about six weeks ago and I think my fishing days are over. So please Watch the ads on TV of the people coughing their guts out because it really is what happens later in life from smoking. They can treat it but they can not cure it. By stopping you are giving yourself more time before it gets so bad that you have to go on oxygen. Thank God I have this site to read about all you guys catching fish

Sunday will be a month for me after 20 years at a pack and a half a day. Vaping has made it possible and every week lowering the nicotine levels. Thought I would never kick that fing habit!!

Fins is right - a little tougher on the water but it can be done and you can do other things - chew gum , chew on a straw - even E-cig if you want to go that route

It gets easier as time goes on - I am almost 2 years myself

Good Luck and dont turn back it is not worth it -It was the hardest thing I ever had to quit
