There are lots of monster fish in Lake Erie but it is not nearly as much fun as catching them in a couple of feet of water, where you can see the strike. We fish from a jet boat now but I will be going to a kayak as soon as it warms up a little more. The river is about a mile wide where I fish and you can wade the whole thing. It is a very special place.
Have you seen Joe Raymond's jet boat where you're fishing the river. He's out of the Duncannon area where I love to go and he's a guide with the most awesome jet boat on the river.

Thanks Eric. That really is good news, especially after all the reports about the fishery being in trouble, recent years.

I see him out there all the time. I have fished with him many times. A great guy, guide, and fisherman.
