Default Missing Boater RIP

My boat is at Morgan. I don't know this guy personally but condolences to friends and family. Sad story.
I do know one thing - that water rips in Cheesequake creek and I would never go in it!

Sad.

I crab back there and well west of the GSP bridge. The currents are nothing like Zubachs ramp ( 4 knots) but still decent.

Wonder what happened? The visiblity in that water is crap, so maybe he got hung up on something.

I would have thought a buddy would have had a life line (or two) attached to him to get him and the motor back to the surface.

Sad. Very sad!

Very sad indeed. Prayers to family and freinds. Hard to loose someone so young with so much life ahead of them

Sorry to hear this, he and his family are in my prayers. He sounds like a young man who voluntered to make his community safer. It is a shame when we hear things like this. I also wonder if he got wrapped up in old fishing line or other line and maybe did not have a knife. God bless him!
