Default Name that trout

n the first photo you see 2 typical stockie rainbows except one is heavily spotted and the other is quite sparsely spotted.....especially in the belly area.

Are these fish from specific and intentional "blood lines" or is it a case, ( like my Labradors).....some puppies are yellow, some or black and some are chocolate.

As is there is a whole range of expression possibilities and each hatch ling expresses whatever genes that happen to show dominantly.

The second photo........well you figure it out.......

I agree with Wilson. Looks like a Weber trout to me.

I'm going to take a guess that the second pic is of a trout that was sitting at the bottom of a wicker creel, and became discolored where it contacted the wicker.
