Default Weekend hybrids / driftboat build progress

I know I know it’s early....... but I had to ....Got out by myself the last few days to do some prospecting.... ended up finding a few nice hybrids on each trip. No crazy mad dog bite going yet but with temp on the rise and the herring spawn coming down to a dwindle it’s going to be on!!!! Soon!
Best run this week was a triple header which one came unbuttoned and landed the two...

Also here’s the latest with the driftboat build for those that know what’s going on there..... glassing the rower seat in now then painting the inside floor and gluing the rod boxes and and all hatches. She’s almost there !

Nice fish as always Mikey! That boat's coming along well. Gonna look sweet when it's done! You gonna paint it or do some marine polyurethane? Would look classic just stained and finished!

On the bridy bite i see nice fish. are you getting ready for the hybrid contest coming up in july the herring are still doing the dance for now but that should slow down by next week most of the herring are out over deeper water now joe had to move his barges out into the deeper water to find the feeding bait. The boat is looking good keep up the good work can't wait to see it on the water.

Dark grey rino liner material for floor on inside... then garish all the wood and trim outside the boat is gonna be royal blue awl grip with a light blue bottom
