Volunteers needed to help stock trout in the Musconetcong River this Friday 5/26/17

Interested in giving some volunteer time to help a local NJ trout fishery?

Or in learning public access fishing spots on the Musky where trout can be caught year round?

Or meeting some new people who love fishing the Musky and want to preserve it for future generations?

If the answer to any of the questions above is YES, come help stock the Musky this Friday! A volunteer group through the WCC has been stocking the Musky for years. We stock stretches of the river that the hatchery trucks cannot access due to time constraints. We could use extra help because a couple of our regulars are not available this week. This is a great way to learn the river and trout fishing tips from our volunteers.

We meet at the Hackettstown Hatchery at 7 am Friday, and are usually done stocking around noon. PM me if you are available to help or if you have questions.
