Tilcon Lake 7/13/15
Went boat fishing during the day with a friend I made through TU. We tried using herring at different spots throughout the lake and got no hits. Tried live lining it, and using a slip bobber to adjust the depth. Did see some topwater hits and some decent sized largemouths from the boat.
When we first came, we talked to a guy who said he caught a salmon from the shore, and he gave us some worms. We were able to catch some sunnies from the shore so that we didn't get completely skunked. |

Deep lake but the weeds are bad. I think its millfoil just below the water. Very clear water makes for spooky fish.
Beaver Brook flows out of it. Not sure it there is some sort of bottom release but I imagine there would have to be(during construction) to keep water in the stream which holds native brook trout.

That place sucks. Over-fished and not worth the effort to get in.
