Fall trout, not bad

Went 8 for 10’ couple nice 17”’ fish !

At the Pequest yesterday I was surprised how healthy the water level was. Usually this time of year the streams are down to a trickle and there have been several years in the past when the hatchery consequently had to delay the fall stocking. Next week looks rainy in northwestern NJ which is ideal! Unfortunately, the fall stocking won't occur until the following two weeks.
