D+R Canal
After years of overlooking this extensive body of water I decided this year I would spend some time there. I've been very impressed! It doesn't take long to catch some decent pickerel and there's enough bass action to keep things interesting. But one of the things I like best is the multiple species that are possible. In one days outing I caught SMB ,LMB, Pickerel. yellow perch, bluegill, channel cats and I even saw a muskie ! Needless to say I'll be spending some more time on the D+R Canal . Trying to post pictures. Dan Last edited by DanH; 07-20-2018 at 10:40 AM.. |

Re: D+R Canal
Use live sunnies for the tigers that are in there near the locks. Chunk the sunnies up for big channels and flatheads

Re: D+R Canal
I am going to try just that! I've thrown everything in my box at them to no avail, if I didn't see them I would swear there were none! lol.
