That's a lot of reel/money and overkill for fishing Flounder and I presume by Flounder, you mean Summer Flounder/Fluke?

I were you, I'd save some money a look into a low profile bait caster like the Daiwa Lexa HD. The HD has a stainless steel drive and pinion gear which will hold up better in saltwater. It's also over kill for Flounder but you can use it for Stripers and Blackfishing too and with the money you save, you can pair it up with a nice light composite rod.

The Conquest is a bit of overkill for what you want to do. The Calcutta B series is less expensive for drop and reel fishing. You can save yourself some $$$$ in the process and put it toward a matching rod. Size matters, so match the reel to the rod........the Calcutta 100B is fine for lighter line but if you match it to a heavier rod, you should go to the 200B but definitely no bigger. Do yourself a favor and go to a store to actually feel the reel. Buying online doesn't save you a thing if you have to waste the energy having to return the reel for a different size. Most of the better reels in the stores are priced competitively with online prices.

Yes sir, and I would say you also what to put your reel of choice on a rod to see how they balance with one and other. This is especially true when your talking lighter weight set ups.
