Binnington was an absolute beast and the Blues deserved that game. Congrats champs.

Another season in the books and another NHL thread complete. On the upside I can get back to living a normal life after the chaos of the last two months.

Tight lines boys. Have a safe summer and bloody up the decks. Cya on the water.

WOW!! what a long season it was .... really Great Post Season with all the good teams and games.... hope the Rangers take note of what it really takes to go all the way I did get my wish having John Davidson come back as President..... Looking forward to trades, draft and UFA's now... I can finally unplug my red light for the Summer!!

Thanks so much Duff for starting this thread every year, and BD, Dales, ICB et al, for keeping it going all season .... hopefully seeing you guys on the water!!

Well another NHL season is in the books. Mazel Tov to the St. Louis Blues as they went from worst to first. Simple coaching change adding Craig Berube, having HOF Larry Robinson work with the defensive corps, and a hot rookie goalie all played huge roles in the Blues winning their first Stanley Cup!

Beating the Bruins decidedly in Game 7 on their own home ice😛, watching Marchand cry 😛and booing Gary Bettman (every year) 😱 all happy playoff memories. Sorry Duff, I know this one hurts.

Can’t wait until the start of the 2019-2020 season.

Trouba now a Ranger... I like it... gave up Pionk and just returned the #20 pick.. that's a lot better deal then i thought we'd have to make.... time for Shatty to go cause he never met his hype and sucking up too much cap $ ... Rangers just need a marquis player that you can count on for scoring and with the #2 draft pick and young guys we've gotten I'm hoping for a good season!!

Just when I thought this thread was dead........

B-shirts get Trouba (who I wanted in the WORST way when the Bees were looking at him in a trade) then draft the beast (IMO) Kakko. JD will turn this around quick.

Then Devils draft Hughes (Patrick Kane clone...again in IMO) THEN I just hear they traded for Subban a few minutes ago!

Looks like hockey is back in the metro area next season!
