Having fished with Dave for over 20 years I beg to differ. He works hard every trip. He also was paying 2 guys to keep the boat going when he does take a cat nap. It's his boat and he writes the checks therefore he could sleep all day if he wants to or better yet he could stay on land to collect his cash when they catch.

Is he confident? Yes he is. Does he know he is a good fisherman? All of New England does. He has been top boat in his area for years running. That does not happen by luck. Go fish with him and I think you will change your mind.

BTW Paul and Sandro are also great fisherman. I think this split will be great for the show. They're are now 4 top boats with tuna.com, hard merch, pinwheel (yes that kid can fish) and Paulys new boat.

That's fine that you feel that way. I just don't want to hear how great he thinks he is. Confident if that's what call it fine. I call it cocky when you tell Me how great you are Then go on to pull hooks drop fish And miss harpoon shots. All I am saying is he is not my cup of tea

All I know is I thought this season was gonna suck the way it started.. Its pretty F#$%^&ing Exciting..

Tyler is growing on me as the season goes on.. Love tuna.com , love Paul and his brother teaming up.

I cant bare to watch the bounty hunter though.. its like dental surgery.. I wanna laugh sometimes but not for nothing its there lively hood.. I dont wanna see anyone do bad when it comes to putting food on the table.

But Im sure even though they aint catching the show is putting food on the table..

Id like to see Marciano start doing a lil better.. and where has crazy ass Ralph been??
total nutball

Anyway - Awesome season.

Funny how they show Dave sleeping just once in the last two years of the show and he is a now sleeper. Ever wonder what Paul does on the 16 hour ride to George's and back? Safety is number one....would you want your captain dozing off at the wheel on the long ride home putting your life in jeapardy in addition to ofhers? Just saying....

Paul is part time who see's about 10 bluefins a season out of 100 or so we catch without him....I think I'll be okay.

Pretty bleak right now Howie. The few boats that have made a couple trips have not done much at all. With that said once we all get out there in a couple weeks it will be easier to find them. We thought last season was going to be slow and look what happened! Hoping for half of what we had last year.

Fun trip coming soon. Boat leaves paint shop today looking like new.
