Let's up the ante another notch... Today I was in Andover Hunt & Fish (formerly YOJ Sports) picking up some guns and mentioned the upcoming Meet n Greet to Garrett the owner. He said he would be interesting in sponsoring / contributing to the event by either donating some gear for prizes, offering a discount to people on gear for it or something similar.

Sooooo... time for some suggestions on what you guys would like here. This is a serious offer so please no stupid or ridiculous suggestions.

I'm sending Garrrett the link to this thread so he can chime in himself. He may be interested in becoming a site sponsor too.

I think a discount on gear for guys just starting would be best just do to how informal we operate these.

I'm sure I would be interested and I think Tom would to, I think Sat would also be a good choice. That's our home turf. Pike and Crappie in there for sure I think a hybrid through the ice would be a first. It may be nice to switch the weekends up with gwl as the ice don't hang around long down here and some years don't come at all. The sooner the better for

Not sure why everyone thinks gwl is the arctic circle but its not. 2 yrs ago we had no safe ice at all. I barely wanted to stretch it to mid Feb.

Andover Hunt and Fish, a sponsor, that's awesome. Were never organized because for the most part, it's an ICE PARTY!!! We should take full advantage of this. Let's say a pair of ice picks or something goes to the biggest panfish caught. The biggest slime dart possibly gets a voucher for 20 dollars worth of ice gear. The biggest LM, I don't know, maybe a voucher for some bass lures. This is a great oppurtunity to have. I'm sure this site would love nothing more than to add another AWESOME SPONSOR!

Need your thoughts fellas. What can we do here. Andover H&F just sponsored a contest this past Sunday for another site. Great people. Thanx for talking to the fine people at the shop Jim!!! Let's see what we can work out!?!?!?!?
