I was out tonight solo in the middle of one of our bigger lakes. Walking out at dusk I saw the 6+ inches of ice below me. i fished to maybe 6:00. Packing up and walking back was a freaky feeling. I knew the ice was safe, i also knew if somehow i fell through, i was a dead man. No one would know i was out there. I'll prob go back tomorrow Just make sure you know what your walking on!

Google glow lures, jigs, spoons, etc....There is tons of info out there for what ever you are targeting.

Not really salt against fresh. Just something about freshwater that I cannot find when saltwater fishing. Have nothing against it just not my cup of tea.

As far as night ice fishing goes ... always ready to go. Went last night and report is coming up.
