Santa brought me my new PB Walleye

After yesterday's plan to get to GWL fell through, my buddy and I got out there this morning before family obligations called. Was on the water by 7:30am. Water was chilly, 36 degrees in the morning, up to about 39 degrees when we left at 2pm. Got hit early by a nice 25", which was my new PB for about 2 hours...

Changed spots and Santa met me there with another personal best Walleye . Jigged him up from the depths, knowing I was hooked into something nice. After some nice headshakes and a decent fight, I got him into the net and into the boat. Fish measured just about 29" and had a nice belly. Pulled up a few Crappie for good measure, but the story of the day was the BEAST!
