OK there champ, where did you catch the fish??? A hybrid striper can be salt or fresh water. Did you get him in delaware river or the ocean, bass river, hudson river, rahway river, raritan river, papakitting creek, maybe you got the fish out of some hillbilly pond down in burlington county somewhere!!!! Its a nice fish, where was the fish caught???

Maybe its a resevoir fish, maybe its a newark watershed fish!!!!! Im curious!!!! Tappan res, Oradell res, Boonton res, Wanaque, Monksville????????????????

Thanks guys, yeah I'm a little disapointed in myself for not being prepared. I had no scale with me on the boat so I have no idea what she weighed, but she was 32 inches and we were guessing around 12-13 lbs. I also released her unharmed, but now I'm thinking I should've kept her and got it weighed, could've got a skillful angler award or something. Also does anyone know the hybrid record for the res? Little curious to know if I had a record for there also..Prob not, but nice to think about.

This was the first one of the day, think it was around 5-6 lbs..
