fry are the little babies. fingerlings are a few inches in length

thanks for the responses guys. i forgot about the late spawn this year. i noticed it at my lake. i have seen tons of sunfish, rainbow trout, and even pickerel fry. hopefully the lmb fry will come next.

i seen huge schools of bass fry in the Delaware river in Milford, NJ yesterday.

I've seen them in a few lakes the past couple of days. Some actually where hiding under my kayak today while I was patrolling the shallows.

Small concentrations of them at Shepherds lake last night.

Not many though. Personally I couldnt identify them, this is going by what my buddy pointed out.

Saw a bunch of LMB fry last night (Butler Reservoir)... cute little buggers... imagine the big guys like how they taste!!

butler res. is pretty close to me. still not bass fry in my lake. just seeing sunfish fry. at least i think they are. do largemouth fry still have the distinctive dark line running down their body when they are .5'' long?

i may throw out a minnow trap to see if i can find one. anybody have recommendations about what kind of bait i should use. im guessing pieces of hot dog and/or bread?
