Late June has been GREAT for the Cape May boats fishing a Gulf Stream filament in the Poormans the last two weeks. There were some LARGE bigeyes tunas mixed with the fun sized yellowfins along with a few white marlins excited about spreader bars.

Tough crowd around here. Guy said he didn't have much experience and frankly, think he is correct in July being prime time in NJ, as of lately. The NJ tuna fishery has not been consistent in Sept nor Oct. Tuna fishing seems to have picked up in the last few weeks. I expect it will be a day troll for you MC and should be a good trip as long as weather holds up. Good luck.
