Default Musky

I forgot to say in my other post while waiting sitting on a rock on the waters edge across from the Golden Nugget on Rt 29 talking to another guy fishing waiting for the stocking truck today a nice size musky swam by. It was funny because both of us had on polaroid sun glasses, saw it at the same time and said, "Wow" out loud. I'm guessing it was about 40" or so. I caught a smaller one last year while trout fishing but miles south of where I saw this one.

That musky was on a mission the way it was swimming and besides the tackle I had in hand was for trout, not a 40" + musky. Even if you could manage to hook it the canal banks are to high and you'd need a big net to have any chance at that spot. The one I caught last year was in a different part of the canal were the water comes right to the edge like a beach. In fact thats how I landed it by beaching it. And it was a lot smaller more like 28-30".
