Default Rvr - sbr

Hit rv this morning, shore for about 3 hours w shiners pb and lures. Only landed a smb and rock bass..... Hit the sbr on way home and landed 2 beautiful rainbows about 16" in about 30min. They just hit the smoker w a couple nice pieces of cherry wood.

Rvr is such a frustrating place to fish. Thankfully it was a beautiful morning, one day I'll figure that place out.......or at least have Lady Luck on my side.

Let the water get colder in rvr before you get frustrated.

Yes, perfect casts easily ruined. Worth it though as i'm having fun with the rainbows. Stocking point 3/4 mi from my house. "Sure babe, i'll run to the store for you....." Ha First bows, then errands

Spoke to a guy yesterday that had a huge stringer from the Musky and was hitting the SBR on way home. Im fine with keeping fish but thought this was a bit excessive....

Was it more than his legal limit? If so, ya gotta call fish & game. Keep the number in your cell. I provide license plate numbers too when I can. It's like a top 5 thing that pisses me off -- poachers.

To be honest, not real sure. I'm not one to keep tabs on others, usually mind my own. Only reason it even stuck with me as he was about to blow up my little honey hole.

When the put and take is over, the SBR crowds will go and the SMB will still be there, hungry & feisty as ever
