For what platform and area?

I currently use iNavx on my iPad and rather dated charts on my old lowrance GPS/sonar.

I was looking for chartplotters and mobile. Im a freshwater fisherman making the jump to some saltwater/bay fishing for larger species, and have used Navionics for most of my lake/Potomac efforts. Just wondering if anyone is using the same product or what other products are out there.

I have to agree about the navionics apps for the smart phone and tablets and would guess the chart plotter version is at least as good or better. My Lowrance HDS7 Gen 2 came loaded with a Lowrance propitiatory charting program I'm not sure what they call it maybe USA Insite or something like that. Anyhow it's pretty good too. They had a demo unit set up in West Marine and when I saw the detail it had I bought it. That was 2 or 3 years ago so maybe what they have now is even better...Charlie
