Default Aluminum Prop Service

My prop is old, not in terrible shape but not shitty enough to replace yet. I'm not sure if its worth having it serviced or buying a new one. Any thoughts?

Props can be serviced and it's relative bargain compared to new ones. I would have it serviced.

It's around $100 to have a prop redone

Personally I'd bite the bullet and go new. Aluminum props are less than $150 usually. Reuse the hub and you're good to go.

not sure what drive mechanism you have, but for me, I can get new Solas aluminum props for my old Volvo/Penta AQ275 for around $100. It's simply not worth the bother to refit an old prop at that price.
