Great time on the ice today. Nice to put some faces to the names. No fish but a great time , do it again anytime. Thanks for putting it together Eddie.

It was great to meet everyone. Good times even though the fish weren't cooperating. Hopefully we can plan another outing somewhere else in the near future, maybe at a spot with less ice boats

Dare I say it, another ICE fishing get together. Wow, old man winter is coming hard this coming week and I know damn well Im going to be on the ICE while we have it. Anybody down to hit the HARDWATER? I personally would like to get on the 1 and only Lake Hopatcong. Never know what the damn weather is going to do in NJ. If the ICE-GODS are in our favor, we can have a nice little ICE-PARTY on LH and all meet at DOWS, plenty of parking there. If not LH than possibly SKUNKSVILLE. I know the north side of that place will have ICE. Open for suggestions boyz. Any ideas, post it up and lets get out there and enjoy ourselves SAFELY! TIGHT LINES!! YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA BUUUUUUDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDYYYYYYYY YY!!!

As Long As I Don't Have To Work,i Be There.would Like To Be Able To Fish Some Of The Points.the Eyes And Stripes Start To School Up On Them Late Jan And Feb.

i would say LH is dependent on main lake ice. I hit the state park w my buddy the sat. of the weekend we had ice and in 2 hours no flags, prob 35 guys out there, saw 1 perch caught by someone, was dead. The lake is lowered right to the weed tops in that area, I wanna get out on the main lake and get sum action. This upcoming week shows lotsa promise w 3-4 days 20's and below

Looks like myself and a bunch of other members will be out on Hopatcong tomorrow. We'll be fishing off Barnes Bros Marina. I did well there on Friday, caught 30 perch between 9-13 inches and 1 pickeral at 24 inches and fat. Ice was 6-8 inches where I was drilling. Come on out boyz. Going to be a little windy but a nice day over all. YEA BUDDY! TIGHT LINES!!!

How were the shore lines and the ice on the way out?

Shoreline was great Friday. No problems at all.they didn't get much rain at Hopatcong today at all. Come on out dude. We'll be off Barnes marina. Should be there around 9 or so. Ill be wearing a gray Spider Ski jacket, black ski pants and a gray hat. Gona be windy but gotta get out there before it melts this coming week.
