the gulp in the bag is a lot softer than the pint container. dont put the gulp from the bag in the juice in the pint container,because it gets a lot softer. the gulp in the pint container is much harder.

Great topic. I've noticed the same problem on my end. I am going thru the new Gulp like crazy. It's a great bait this time of year. Many limits but it is different. Above comments are correct in that it is softer. And it's not bluefish bites. They are Fluke bites. Hell, I've had a number of fish bite the tails off on the 6 inch mullet. I thought it was strange but after seeing this thread, I realize I am not alone. Anyway, I will contact Gulp and express my opinion. Thanks all for sharing your views.
