First fish of 2016!!

Got out Saturday afternoon 1pm till 4. Fished hard for a few hours with nothing to show for it until a small rain cloud made things even less fun. Rain, wind, January, and nothing caught...... So I put out some trolling rods, cracked a beer and putted around the lake waiting for the rain and wind to pass. Then the rain cleared, wind died, glassy water and I gave one more shot at a ledge I fished twice earlier in the day. Picked off 3 eye's within maybe 5 casts..22", 19", and 17". I'm glad I stuck it out.


Bring on the ice!!!!!
