Looking to pick up a filet knife for use in salt or fresh water. I see knives from $10 to $200. What do you guys use, and why? Does size really matter
? I suppose a sheath is handy, but most are leather. Leather gets AFU by salt water, no? Thanks for the input... |

Sharp is all that matters. It's what you buy it for.
Is $10 sharper than $60? Does it keep it's edge inexplicably longer with a wooden, plastic or rubberized handle attached? That why we pay $400 for a cooler to save $10 in ice. The salesman got you.
