Epic pickerel day - 5/2/15

One of my best days ever for number of pickerel caught(over 100) and my best day ever for pickerel 24" or bigger(7). Tallied 13 bass as well. All on topwater(as usual) with a new lure: Gary Yamamoto Shibuki Popper. This thing casts a mile and fish were crushing it. I lost two to the teeth of big pickerel. I made it fish friendly by removing one of the trebles and pinching the barbs down on the other. I lost a few fish but generally hook sets were good and releasing the pickerel was easy.
