Until opening day April 4th. Exceptions are certain Trout Conservation Areas.
Trout stocked lakes are closed also with a few exceptions, if you are not sure please pick up the New Jersey Fishing Digest.
If you see someone fishing in a closed area please say something or try to inform those people of the rules.

Man it sucks when the closed streams coincide with the ice meltdown. Very little places to fish soon
