Belated report from my trip to the reservoir last week. Got out with two buddies of mine for one of their birthday. Arrived at dawn and action was nonexistent until after 10. Shiners on the bottom, under bobbers, soft plastic crayfish, various cranks. Finally some bass showed up up to 17 inches all caught on shiners on the bottom then action died around 1. Another guy showed up, threw soft plastic worms, and left catching more fish then all 3 of us. We tried to copycat with no luck. A great day though and fun was had by all.

Always good to get out with some good friends. And at least you avoided the skunk!
