Default Fishing Kayak

I see some posts about kayak fishing on here and some models to choose from.
I wanted to give a product review on my new yak !
Its a predator MX model, by Old Town. 12ft, and cabelas just started carrying it last month. They also have a 13ft model but i thought that might be too big.

Has black mounting plates (6) to attach rod holders, fish finders, etc without having to drill into the plastic. They even have an option for a minn kota trolling motor mount.
Scupper plugs to let water out but not in, and 3 way seat positioning.

I just got it last week and I took it on the p river this for only a 1/2 hr after work and it paddles great. Def taking out on RB for stripers

If anyone is on the market for a fishing kayak, I would recommend the Old town, predator!

AWESOMENESS. Just don't go in the bay alone with that yak. Lots of boaters will be out there soon, half of them will be doing test runs. Watch out for guys screaming, FULL THROTTLE while throwing beer cans off the stern.

.

Looks like a great kayak with a comfortable seat.

Before it warms up, I plan on going to the Kayak Fishing Store to upgrade my seat and replace the cheap aluminum paddle I've been using.

Very nice boat man. The thing I prefer about my 12.5' sit-in fishing kayak is the fact that I can't drop sh*t over the side or off my lap like a sit on top. From the looks of that one, you won't have to worry about that problem either. See you out there .
