Little Smallies on the Big "R"
Headed out yesterday afternoon to the NB with the wife to see if we could find any smallies on the feed. Well they definitley were out there but all small. Biggest was about a pound which after about a dozen little guys was an awesome fight..HA!. Even caught one LM...a 10 oz monster...which was kind of cool. They are few a far between on that stretch of river. Spent about 3 hours wading the river on a perfect day ...caught a bunch of fish...and the kicker is that it also counts as quality time with the wife! Just a fun day all around.
And for those of you who know me.....No this time the wife did not outfish me. That only happens when we go for the big fish.
