North Jersey Smallmouth Report 4-15

Fished a moving body of water in Northern NJ this afternoon for an hour and a half. Had nothing for the first hour and ten minutes, then decided to tie on a crankbait. Good decision. Landed six smallies over the next twenty minutes before having to leave biting fish Nothing big, all 11 to 13 inches, but nice to get multiple smallies. They are all there waiting for the big girls to come and rock their worlds. Go Get Em!

Funny how quickly we forget about stocked trout, and it's only April 15th !!!

The Smallies are starting to get active for sure. I've picked up a few in the past few weeks as well. Love their acrobatics .
