Lake Assunpink 7/14

Hit Lake Assunpink yesterday afternoon. Got on the lake around 5:15 pm. Headed towards the hump but the crappies and other fish were slim. Worked back towards the island and then back to the cove. Once the sun started to go down, we started throwing topwaters. Both produced a pick of fish. We had 16 crappie, bass, perch, sunfish and a catfish. Mr. Whiskers hit a rapala. Got off the water around 8:45 pm. Not a great day on the water but not bad either.
