OCEAN FLUKE REPORT 7AM-4PM MARATHON -MONDAY JULY 28TH, 2025

Hey gang we set sail with 21 regulars pretty much the same people that have been coming on Mondays. Lindsay brought her brother and two other friends, Big Joe, Ben, Gary, Old Ron, Frank, Ocean Pete, Patrick, Big Al, Jimmy and the rest of the gang! The ocean was flat calm like silk, not much of a drift all day but we got the job done, went to four different locations one location was in 85 ft of water, pretty far out with no boats around. Got to fish 3 of our pieces and big quality fluke along with big blue knuckle heads and some ling. Patrick had his limit the man in the bow had his limit along with Ben and Frank, with Ben taking the big marathon pool today with a nice 6 lb fish ending the day with 37 keeper fluke and every bit of 200 shorts. We’ve been docking at 4 PM on all these trips. What an enjoyable day for us out on the water today, when I was helping the customers off the boat today all of our regulars were coming up to me saying what an outstanding job John did today on deck, I said it in one of my reports two or three years ago the kid brings a lot of passion to this job, and actually he’s not a kid he’s a 19 year old man, he’s the son that I never had I love waking up in the morning and working with him.
