Hey gang, we went out to the same area where we've been previously fishing. The first drift of the day lasted an hour and 20 minutes. We had a boat limit of slots, bonus fish and some really nice big trophy fish released 30-35 lbers. It's been catch and release the rest of the day. Derrick, Ben and Bernie are high hook somewhere in the mid-teens. Since we started our Fall striper trips the end of Oct. this was our 33nd trip today. It sure is going to be depressing when it ends. I'm really hoping that it lasts for another 3 to 4 weeks. Beautiful day out on the ocean today with some great people. The next 2 days Tues., and Wed. are going to be very good conditions for fishing. Then they are calling for winds for Thurs. and Fri. but we'll worry about that when it comes. AVA 47s with red tails were the ticket today. Don't miss the bite, we're going to catch them like this tomorrow.
