Saturday July 21st. Hey gang, out today with 50 customers. William of Jersey City got the 1st keeper fluke and the free T-shirt. Still on the 1st drift. With the strong winds this afternoon we will not be sailing the 3:30 trip. However, we should shape up good for tomorrow. I'll give a follow up report later.
Thanks Capt Scott |

Hey gang here is the follow up report. We had to retreat back to the bay. We had a total of eight keepers. Kevin Cichon of Sea Bright NJ landed a beauty 8.4 lbs. Most of the boats docked 1 hr early today because of the strong winds this afternoon.
Thanks Capt. Scott Last edited by Prowler 5; 07-21-2018 at 05:13 PM.. |

Saturday was bad. I had to do a tow boat run up to NYC from inside the Hook. The SE wind and East 3-5' were daunting in the bay between the tip of the Hook and up to the Islands ( west side of course).
Had to be troopers to tough out a day fishing in that crap.
