Good night fishing with some horrible pictures

Got out to the big pond Friday evening. Launched around 9 headed across the lake then some rather large lightning bolts where spotted coming in from the west so i headed back to Lee's to wait it out. A few other fisherman, including Fast Eddie made the dash for Lee's also and we had a nice little tailgate scene with around 10 guys BS'n in the parking lot waiting the storm out. Once the lightning passed it was like the start call of a tournament with 5 or 6 boats all flying outta Lee's cove heading to their prospective spots. I got to my first spot and immediately hooked into this years biggest eye for me, nice healthy 25", i picked a few other quality eyes off the spot as the night when on.
Eddie texted me with some intel on some hybrid activity so i made a move and and got a nice 23" bull Hybrid and couple more eyes. Ended the night with 6 eyes, all good sized, 19", 21", 2-22"s, 23" and a 25" and the Hybrid. My night time selfie timer skills are lacking but i was more interested in getting the fish back in the water rather than fumbling around with the phone.

Pretty good night out there despite the weird storm that kept us at the marina for an hour or so. Scotty was dialed in on the Walleye while I had an interesting mixed bag of 1 keeper Walleye, 1 Rock Bass, 1 16 inch slab Crappie, 1 16 inch Smallie and 5 Hybrids to top off the night. Good fishing for sure! Way to go Scoward!!!

I originally thought he was going to another Walleye lake! He could’ve jumped on with me. I gotta get someone on the boat for the next trip just in case I need a cameraman, lol!!! My pics from this night trip were horrible. Phone got wet and I had to do the rice thing when I got home. It worked thankfully. TIGHT LINEZ!!!

I live up the street and always drop my life responsibilities on a dime to go fishing!!! HAHAHAHA we need revenge on the jigging trip!!!!
