Mushin - 12/1 & 2 stripers

MUSHIN had Mike B's group out for their annual striper trip on 12/2. Fishing was tough for the fleet, but we looked around and put in the time trolling to put some nice bass in the box.

Fishing bounced back nicely for 12/3 when we had Reedy Creek Outfitters out with their returning guest Alan Corzine of Kent Cartridge, Kelly Haydel of Haydel Game Calls, and national outdoor writer John Kelly. Our first stop was a little slow, so we steamed onward to find fish in a tight fleet of boats and put a limit of bass in the box. Coming back to the original spot of the morning, we found there had been a nice bite.

All in all, it looks like there's still a lot of nice striper fishing to come, but much of our efforts will be offshore sea bassing for the rest of December.
