Hey Gang,
another set of waders just sprung a leak so I was wondering what all of you river fishing guys use and could recommended. Never owned a stocking foot type, been a boot fit guy but I don't fish that much and these things never seem to last more than a season. LMK, Thanks! |

Can't beat the Cabela's breathable stocking foot waders matched with a nice pair of Simms boots. Cabela's have a lifetime guarantee and the price is right.

I own a pair of Orvis Encounter Waders. These are boot foot waders. They will definitely last you more than a year. Little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Check them out. |

Try going in a closet or a real dark room with your waders and strong flashlight. Put the light in the leg that leaks and look for light coming trough. Oh yeah bring some chalk or a marking device.
If you see light through the waders 'well that's a leak. Mark it and look for other leaks. Apply aqua seal to that area.
