Njf Ice Meet-n-greet 1/11-1/12

I was on the ice at Spruce Run this past saturday. Good thick ice by the boat launch. Also know some guys who were down on the east end by 31, good ice down there too.

8+ inches off van syckles in certain spots these past few days. I'm hoping the next few days of warmth doesn't kill it cause I plan to get out there next Tuesday!

Instead of cups we drill holes in the ice with an augur in a typical 10 cup formation and use tennis balls instead of ping pong balls. When a hole gets hit we cover it with a plate! Boom! 1 re-rack per game. single elimination bracket style tournament?.....Just a thought, Bring your 30packs!

That's awfully wallet friendly, too. What reel did you pair it with? I'm pissed I wasnt rewarded on LH @ the MNG w/ a fish while jigging. I'm determined to pop my ice jiggin' cherry!

Scoward--that's a friggin' SIIIIIICK idea. Sure beats the piss out of an ice luge! It's kind of like a mix between cornhole and beer pong!

Just picked up a medium daiwa at franks. A lot of backbone paired on an old blue runner reel that was collecting dust. 40lb braid, aiming to jig big stuff with a lil luck.
