i started making my own bucktails for last year's fluke season and i had my best season for fluke hands down. i put a 4-5lbs fluke in the boat every weekend for about 5 weeks in a row. 7/0 hooks on my 2oz and 3oz, 8/0 hooks on my 4-8oz. I messed with the colors and made some variations on popular spro colors and even made one with sea robin colors (my best big fish bucktail last season), i felt like little variations on styles we all know work great made it work even better!
