Default Rod recomendations

I had the opportunity to pick up my dream reel, a Zee Baas 25. Bought off a friend on the cheap (well not cheap but at a fraction of the cost).
Obvious it will be a spinning rod mainly for ocean fishing on 6 pack boats for our inshore stripers, blues, ect. I don't think I'll be tuna popping but if I keep it up with Fish Stix one never knows.
Thinking of something in the 7 foot size.
I mainly boat fish and kayak fish the NJ waters.
Thinking of a red Trevla but searching other options.
I have Bogans for bottom and like em, just not sure on his spinners.
Suggestions???????
Thx.

Back to Kevin's .... I have over 1/2 dozen Bogan Customs and love every one of them. I have 2 -7' spinning rods for boat fishing and they've been great. One for jigging and one for snag/dropping bunker. I also have a ZeeBass 25 which I only use for Beach/Jetty fishing.

After looking at the Shimano line the Terez was what I meant to post.
Bogan is a thought as well however i just wanted some feedback on his spinners from those who have em.
I use his coventional rods with no complaints.
What about a Garone? Any feedback?
The ZB will be mainly used off of the beach on a surf rod but just wanting an option for when i spin fish from a boat. If anything snag and drop bunker, castning to surface fish, and in blue fish blitzes.
The reel is way overkill for anything I do or will ever do but the price was fair and it is just something nice I always had an eye for.

I wouldnt recommend using a bailess reel on a boat but definitely from the surf. On my 2 bogan boat spinners I have the new Quantum Cabo PT (which is so much lighter then the older model) and a Penn Battle 5000 on the other. Both work fine.. and the epoxy and guides are much better on the rods. Just pick out the right blank for the fishing youre doing

Why not bail less on a boat?
What Bogan would you recommend for bass/blues from a boat being you have one? I usually use spinners to Snag and drop bunker, for bass, and tossing metal to bass and blues.
Agreed on the better epoxied/wrapped guides.
I also have the Battle 5000 on a Shimano rod that I use to snag and drop but I want to up grade.
I use an old Mitchell 303 from the surf which has been re done. It is bail less, drilled out and has a VS look, upgraded with bearings, and an upgraded drag.
Painted black with polished chrome side plate and spool. Its killer old but keeps up with the best of em. I always get asked where I got my custom VS, I laugh.
Thx
