Exclamation Re: River clean up report 9/7/13:

The total for this 1.2 mile stretch of river on 9/7 was 89 tires, 2 house refrigerators, 1 hot water heater, 1 car transmission with torque converter, two steel kegs filled with concrete, 1 sleeping bag, 4 car and truck alternators, 2 radios, several brake drums and calipers, 1 heater core, 1 steel 12 foot A-frame, 2 house carpets, about 20sq, 1 acetylene tank, 1 dish washer, 1 washing machine, several sheets of plywood and paneling, roughly 10 cubic yards of small trash... Yes, this is the short list of what was found!

FastEddie... thank you! We filled the canoe 3 times in 1.2 miles.

The grand total for that stretch of river over several clean ups, close to 200 tires!

WOW ERIC Sorry to see there are so many neglectful people out there dumping in the rivers. Great to see people like you and others caring enough to clean things up.
