Got my hands on my first vessel, simple canoe, bought used off FB Marketplace so no receipt nor any idea how to get it registered for a trolling motor.

First real trip is out for Muskie and skunked but had a great strike/near jump from one right on the side of the canoe.

First fish is officially a SMB from monksville. I couldnt find much outside of some bluegill and young 5 inch largemouth. That place got mobbed with paddlers!

Took it out down south for snakes,
I started with a buzzbait, 4 nice hits from snakes but none hooked up, good ones too. Maybe hitting the blade only. Switch to a EWG swimbait and that finally stuck for my first. Was able to watch chris mop up and hog all the fish otherwise. congrats on his PB (ill let him post pic) Mixed were some dink largemouth bass + 1 fatty largemouth chris got.
