I had 5 small striper on 4 oz jig and lost 9 yesterday evening. i think i know the reason why I lost many big fish. I tighten up the drag. Thus many big fish pulled hook. 30"striped didn't take line at all. 🙂 That is OK because it is a kind of experimentation.
