There are diamond jigs that are flatter and shorter but the same weight as standard sizes .
Yet almost an inch to 1 1/2” shorter

Don’t need to be expensive jigs .
Just try and keep them as small as possible
Tough to beat an Ava in sizes 17/27 but many times conditions call for a heavier jig to stay vertical .
