![]() Reading these posts makes me crazy. I guess I know where I have to make some trips next year. It’s a shame it’s too far to slip a boat up there from where I’m at. 44 double digit fluke. The boats out of Atlanta Highlands are lucky to get one or two all year LOL. It’s crazy how all the fishing’s moving up north and is better up north.

![]() It’s not a matter of fish moving north
Massachusetts and Rhode Island have huge areas closed to trawlers |

![]() This. Those fish have always been out there too. They haven't just randomly shifted there. Montauk, Block Island, Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket have always had thriving fluke fishing for many years now.

![]() Gotcha. Well either way I see where they are and where they aren’t. Fluke fishing wasn’t happening for shit in sandy hook are this year. Sure I got some keepers but a lot of lousy days for sure. It had definitely gone downhill in the last 10 years I’ve fished there. (For me anyway). I wish it wasn’t 6 hours to get there😡

![]() Fluke 7am-4pm. Fare $100. Reservations.
Being outside in the fresh salty air is something we have all missed. Our family is so excited to be able to share that with you again! While we go through the “phases” we ALL have to adhere to the CDC & DOH requirements. Bring Your Own Mask: Everyone must wear a mask/face covering when it is not possible to maintain a 6ft distance from others, such as walking through the marina, boarding, moving around the boat, and in the cabin & bathrooms. There are sinks in the bathroom with antibacterial soap. We also have hand sanitizer for all to use, you are welcome to bring your own too. As always only crew members can touch the nets & gaffs. When you need help from a crew member they will have mask on, please do the same when possible. Payments will be made prior to leaving the dock so no one has to line up in the galley. We are starting the season with 30 marked spots for a limit of 30 anglers, so you must call us for a reservation #631-668-1545. Reservations will be made by phone, held with your credit card information. If you are a no-show your credit card will be charged, so if you have to cancel your reservation please call at least 24 hours prior to the trip so we can try to give your spot to another angler. Due to us being limited to 30 passengers per trip, numbered fishing spots at the rail will be reserved, this ensures everyone to have a 6ft distance from one another. The spots will be reserved by a first call first serve basis, please refer to the diagram for numbered spots. If you wake up with symptoms of COVID-19 please stay home & call to let us know, you will not be charged. Do Not Come Out Fishing If: 1) you’ve knowingly been in close or proximate contact in the past 14 days with anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 or who has or had symptoms of COVID-19 2) you’ve tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days, or 3) you’ve experienced any symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days We look forward to fishing with you, but stay home if you are sick. These are the policies we are opening with and hopefully they will be eased as summer goes on, some policies are TEMPORARY and subject to change. If you have questions please give us a call #631-668-1545 |
